The surrounding State forest land makes this the ideal destination for your next family vacation or weekend get-away. Explore the Adirondack High Peaks! Hiking the 46 High Peaks is a goal for hikers. Pine Tree has a sleeping loft with a king-size bed. On the main level there is a queen sleeper sofa. On the lower level there is a bedroom with 2 twin beds.
Location offers the best of two worlds: Nature excursions and activities at the foothills of the Adirondacks Upstate New York, and close to town; just 12 miles from Saratoga Springs. Minutes from a world of shopping, dining and entertainment. 45 minutes from Lake George; 3.5 hours from New York City. Fully equipped kitchen/dining area has unique style and charm - it’s truly cozy & comfortable. Doors open onto a large deck where you can watch the sun set over the lake.
Cabin include the use of canoes, kayaks and a rowboat and our private dock next to Bear Creek Lodge. We also have a well-stocked library of books and movies. Lake Desolation has something for everyone! Hiking for beginners and advanced, dog hikes, biking, swimming, fishing, and good old-fashioned relaxing. Boat to Tinney's Tavern - the one restaurant on the lake. Walk along Main Street at the lake.
15 min. to the Saratoga Track. Also nearby are balloon rides (the area is home to the Adirondack Balloon Festival); The Adirondack Theatre Festival attracts professional actors and artists. The region is jam packed with wide-ranging activities. Whitewater Rafting in spring!

Check-in: 4:00 pm. Check-out: 10:00 am sharp! Please give yourself enough time to vacate the cabin before 10:00 am, we need to ready them for the next guests.
If you have special check-in/check-out requirements, please let us know in advance. We will try to work with you as much as possible.
We can provide linens (sheets & towels) in the event you don't want to bring them along for the small additional fee of $25. PLEASE DO NOT SLEEP ON BEDS WITHOUT LINENS.
All reservations are first-come, first-serve. We will e-mail you as soon as we receive everything to confirm your reservation. PARKING SPACE IS LIMITED TO 2 VEHICLES! THE DEPOSIT DUE, AT TIME OF RESERVATION, IS 50% OF THE RENTAL FEE + REFUNDABLE SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT + ANY EXTRAS (LINENS/EX. GUESTS/ETC.) THE BALANCE IS DUE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE.
