On built-in, old-fashioned corner shelves, guests will also find cookware and dishes.
Modern restroom facilities are readily available inside the cabin, including a stand-up shower. A polished wood floor, knotted pine interior and homey quilts give the home a warm, nostalgic and rustic atmosphere. This quaint cottage by Hide-A-Way Waterfront is perfect for a single-family getaway or a couples’ retreat with friends!
Sleeping arrangements: Bay cottage offers two separate, private bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to five overnight guests. One bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed, while the other features bunkbeds with a twin-size mattress lofted over a full-size mattress.
Bay Cottage is tucked away on a grassy, shaded lot, perfect for spending lazy days out-of-doors. Here guests will find a private stone-ringed campfire area on a tiny, rounded outcrop, lodged just so between a view of the lake and a view of the stars. The property is also furnished with heavy-duty Adirondack lawn chairs, a picnic table and a charcoal grill.
Guests to Bay Cottage also enjoy the free use of the resort’s rowboats and canoes! Whether it’s angling for some dinner, exploring the expansive shoreline of Lake Vanare, or breathing the clean country air with the sun on your face and a drink in hand, Hide-A-Way Waterfront provides everything you could want for getting the most out of your lakeside getaway.

I love hide-away waterfront cottages!! It's my favorite place to take my beautiful daughter , I've been there 5 times within 2 years. My first time there i was 6 months pregnant and have made it a tradition to go every Mother's Day , 2 years in a row. The cabins are beautiful and the view is amazing ! No matter what cabin I stayed at it has always been delightful . The owner Peter is one the nicest people you'll ever meet and his daughter is also very sweet! I will be visiting real soon. Great vacation spot especially if you have small children. My husband and children spent many fun filled summer vacations there when our children were young. They learned how to fish and catch frogs and how to row a boat while there. They always looked forward to going every summer. Very nice owners and nice location. We knew the previous owners Carol and Russell Redlein. Enjoy!! Barb and Joe Inglese
The cottage was perfect, the individual fire pits are a huge bonus as are the community use canoes. Having pet friendly cottages guaranteed my business for life! The only thing better than Peter & the staff are the stunning surroundings...see you again soon. Jennifer Kosanovich
