When it comes to relaxing in the sun, having fun tubing or water skiing, or testing your fishing skills; Cottage 1 at the Anchor Resort and Marina will fit your needs. It sits directly on the water. Come play in the Bay! Kids and adults will like the small beach and swimming in the bay - the main dock has deep water swimming too. If you want to do some serious fishing, consider charter fishing on Lake Ontario and extreme pan fishing. Whether you are on the water or downtown, you’ll love the small town hospitality.
Inside roomy Cottage 1 is a furnished kitchen with utensils. The living room and kitchen combination overlooks the Bay. Coin laundry is available.
Some area highlights include: West Barrier Park, Oswego Maritime Museum, Fair Haven State Park and beach, Sterling Renaissance weekend Festivals, and Railroad Museum. It’s always worth a day trip to the Finger Lakes Wine Trails. Niagara Falls is 3 hrs. but worth every mile:)
A short walk to the water’s edge plus on-site docking at the marina when you stay with us. Since you book directly with us at Anchor Resort & Marina, we can give you lots of ways to explore the area - just let us know what you like to do. At the resort is a playground and basketball court.
The resort has cottages and double wide modular homes, so if your family vacation turns into a family reunion, we have plenty of rooms. Bring your favorite yard games and enjoy our green space and the outdoors. Bring your favorite grilling food too, there are several outdoor grills throughout the marina property. For dinner downtown, find great local flavors in a unique, historic building at Hardware Cafe - they have gifts and antiques as well.
Plan on spending lots of time on the water! We have the toys to get you out there too: 21’, 19’, 18’ Pontoon Boats. 18’ Tahoe boat is great for tubing and skiing. 15’ Smoker Craft with fish finder. Canoes and Kayaks. Stand Up Paddle Boards too! We have fisherman covered with a cleaning station and freezer space.
The small town atmosphere of Fair Haven along with the quaint shops and breathtaking sunsets will keep you coming back! Witness historic bluffs on Lake Ontario; stock up on cottage supplies at the Colloca Estate Winery; find treasures at the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum; bring your A-Game to the picturesque and challenging Springbrook Greens Golf Course. If you enjoy a good hike, head to the Lake Ontario shore (with 5 miles of Hiking Trails) at Sterling Nature Center - also a great place to canoe the Sterling Creek. Common adventures include Lake charters and river guide trips.

Check in is at 2 pm. and check out is at 10 am. Pets owners must clean up after their pets both inside and outside. We suggest reserving boats in advance so that you are guaranteed a boat rental. No refunds for early departures or late cancellations. Advanced cancellations get a full refund of deposit less $10.
Please keep the cottage clean. An additional fee will be charged for extensive cleaning services.
Wicked comfortable beds. Usually have back issues upon wakening, but not here! Cozy cabin feel with all the wood used in the decor. Spend the extra $$ for one of the private cabins. So worth it!! Private fire pit. Great porch that overlooks a beautiful corn field. Deer everywhere! Brand new, clean cabins with mini fridge and microwave. Only a mile or so from the village and marinas.
