Unwind and take in the picturesque views of Lake Ontario’s Little Sodus Bay from Anchor Resort’s Cottage 5. The 3-bedroom/2-bath modular home has a modern interior with pine wainscot paneling in the full-sized living room and kitchen/dining area. A room A/C, TV, and free WIFY help make indoor relaxing easy. The deck on the back of the unit with a picnic area and fire pit will be a favorite gathering area outside to enjoy the fresh air and gentle breezes off the lake.
It’s just a short walk across the grassy lawn to the resort’s swimming beach, pier and marina. Guests also have use of a playground, basketball hoop, shared picnic areas, grills, and fire rings in the resort for larger group activities. Free WIFI is available throughout the resort to keep you connected when you want to. Note linens are not provided so pack your own. The resort has a coin-operated guest laundry.
The newly remodeled kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, dishes, and silverware. The eat-in dining room table seats 6.

Anchor Resort amenities include a sandy swimming beach, playground, basketball court, pier, and marina. At the marina you can rent pedal boats, motorboats, pontoon boats, rowboats, kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. You’ll have plenty of waterfront recreational options within steps of your Lake Ontario cottage.
Anglers will love getting out on Little Sodus Bay in a pontoon boat to pan fish. Local charters are available if you want to test the bigger water of Lake Ontario for your next trophy Brown Trout, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Coho/Chinook, and Small Mouth Bass. Back at the resort you can prepare your fresh catch of the day at the fish cleaning station and pack it away at the resort freezer if you want to save it for later.
Bring your golf clubs because it is just a short drive from your comfortable lakefront upstate New York cottage to the Springbrook Greens State Golf Course. This affordable 18-hole golf course has both traditional wooded-play and links-style holes. Enjoy the scenic views and the 11th hole overlook out over Sterling Marsh.
Venture into town and sample the menu of the authentic Irish pub at O’Connors’ Main Street Pub. Nightly menu specials are offered Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Savor a glass of your favorite wine or Irish ale and take in all the sports action on the pub’s flat screen TVs. The upper deck overlooks Main Street for people watching.
