The sandy beach areas on beautiful Lake George are a great place to take in the beauty of the Adirondack mountains surrounding this majestic lake. Cottage 9 at the Gold Eagle is a great home base, so spread your wings and enjoy some regional activities.
Inside, Cottage 9 has a kitchen equipped with stove top, full refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Outside are plenty of resort amenities highlighted by the 50 foot pool located right out your door, near our play area (swings and sandbox). Plus a Basketball Hoop and Badminton Court.
Cottage 9 is one of 15 well-spaced, private cottages at The Gold Eagle. Sleeping arrangement: 2 Double Beds.
Recently remodeled. Cottages 9 and 10 are next to each other, so if you have 2 families, or a group of 8 you can still vacation together! Linens and towels are provided, and if you are a weekly guest you receive fresh towels midweek.
Climb aboard the Village Trolley! You can leave your car at Cottage 9 and travel by Trolley. For an extremely reasonable fare, the trolley will take you north and south of the Village to area attractions.
Day trips in your car: 15 minutes from Bolton Landing, an hour to the High Peaks, Lake Placid and Old Forge, 30 minutes from Washington County’s famous farms, and 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs.
Whether you are vacationing alone with your sweetheart or with the entire family Lake George has adventure-choices: After relaxing at the cottage and soaking up some sun poolside, it might be time to rent a pontoon boat and explore the big water on your own, or charter a fishing boat and get your Trout fishing on! What’s the most popular things to do in lake George? A hot air balloon flight, hike an Adirondacks peak, Six Flags theme park and Water Safari, Souvenir shopping in the village and Bolton Landing.
