Nest Cottage at Journey’s End Lodging is a cozy one-bedroom vacation unit in the Adirondack Park near Long Lake. The main living area features an efficiency-style great room with a dine-in kitchenette and a small TV lounge and sitting room.

To the back of the cottage, a door leads off the kitchen to one bedroom with a queen sized bed and a full bath. The bath includes a combination shower and tub. To the front of the cottage, double glass doors lead from the sitting room to a spacious screened porch with a view of Long Lake. The screen porch spans the entire length of the cottage and is a perfect spot for outdoor dining.

Out of doors, this cottage sits above the lake, with a parking space and a small, grassy lawn, where guests have free access to a charcoal grill and Adirondack lounge chairs. It is attached to the camp's garage, where we store paddles and life jackets for boaters.

Sleeping arrangements: Nest cottage’s single bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed topped in a homemade quilt. The sofa in the living area also extends into a queen-sized bed.

Long Lake is a great place to explore and also connects to the Fulton Chain of Lakes, where adventurers can try their paddles on the Norther Forest Canoe Trail. The quiet setting and wild surroundings also make Adirondack Park an ideal place for hunting, fishing, star gazing and leaf peeping.

Reviews

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Journey’s End. We for most of the time had great weather. The camp was very comfortable and well equipped. Long Lake is very scenic and beautiful we took great pictures of the Loon’s, sea planes, and mountains. Kathy L., July 2015
